The small family-run campsite Maslinik is located in the town of Punat, on the island of Krk, 50 km from the regional centre of Rijeka. The island is easily accessible thanks to a bridge connecting it to the mainland.
The campsite is located just a short walk from the nearest beach (300 meters). Its 30 pitches can accommodate up to 90 guests, making it perfect for campers seeking for a vacation in a peaceful and relaxing environment.
Camping plots are situated in the profound shade of figs and olives, after which the campsite was named. Processing of olives is here a long family tradition, so guests can also join the guided tour of the small oil factory.
The campsites’ offer includes barbeque areas, free Wi-Fi internet, a children’s playground, the use of a washing machine and refrigerators. Refreshing drinks and an automatic coffee machine are also at guests’ disposal. Accommodation facilities include two mobile homes which allow a new camping experience with full comfort. In addition, a free shuttle service from the islands‘airport is provided to guests arriving by plain.
The centre of Punat lies within short walking distance, offering a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops, as well as a diving school. Punat has also a large marina with yachts and sailboats for rent, as well as one of the best Croatian water sport centres including a modern lift for waterskiing and wakeboarding. One of the places worth visiting is the small island of Košljun with its Franciscan monastery conserving a piece of the rich Croatian cultural heritage.
