The newly opened camping rest area "Motovun" is set in beautiful Istrian countryside at the foot of the hill on which the town of Motovun is located.
The area is well equipped and satisfies all the needs and expectations of campers travelling in a van and other camping lovers. It comprises 12 plots provided with the necessary infrastructure, water and electricity, as well as an emptying point and separate sanitary blocks with shower rooms for women and men.
The owners of the camping rest area are the managers of the hotel Kaštel, situated in the old town of Motovun, and as a consequence the rest area’s guests can use some of the hotel’s facilities, such as the pool, free of charge whilst a discount is offered in the hotel’s a la carte restaurant and wellness centre. In addition, the rest area’s management organise various recreational activities for their guests.
Motovun is about 70 kilometres north of the largest Istrian town, Pula, and around 20 kilometres northeast of Buzet, and the national border crossing between Croatia and Slovenia.
