Add Review
Campsite Njivice is located about 400 metres from the town of the same name on Krk island. The camp lies in a peaceful bay close to the centre of the island and can accommodate 2,000 visitors. The location is very accessible and is situated in the middle of a holly oak wood. The camp has a stone beach with concrete sunbathing areas, a mini-market and a children’s playground.
Njivice and Omišalj (located 6 kilometres from the camp), are the first towns on Krk island to be encountered after crossing the bridge that connects the island to the mainland.
Njivice was once known as a fishing village and that heritage is nowadays celebrated with a number of events, amongst which is the fishing festival that takes place in the summer.
Around 4 kilometres from Njivice, towards the island’s hinterland, there is a lake with fresh water. The busy tourist resort of Malinska and its night bars are 6 kilometres south of Njivice.
