The three-star campsite Paklenica is located in Starigrad Paklenica, only 10 kilometres from the Zagreb-Split highway. It is situated in a pine forest, next to the Hotel Alan and the pebble beach in the town centre. Paklenica stretches over 4,000 square metres and can accommodate up to 600 visitors.
The camp site has received a number of international awards: it has been awarded first prize for its hospitality and environmental awareness by the Italian camping association “Il campeggio italiano”. It has also won an award from the Zoover website, the largest European independent online travel search website, “by travellers, for travellers“ – the campsite won the first place in the Best camping category.
Recreational facilities include an outdoor swimming pool for adults and another one for children, as well as beach volleyball. For an additional fee there is also the new wellness centre of the Hotel Alan. A supermarket, bank, gas station and pharmacy are all located in the close to the camping site.
