A three star campsite situated in Vrsar, camp Valkanela is amongst the most spacious camps on Istria’s western coast. Set in a peaceful bay between Funtana and Vrsar, camp Valkanela is designed primarily as family campsite, though it is equally suitable for guests who like sports, recreation and entertainment.
Accommodating 6,000 guests, Valkanela’s camping plots are large and mainly situated on flat ground, with some situated on terraced slopes. The camp’s beach is about 3 kilometres long with a large pebbly area together with one designated for children.
A number of restaurants and bars are available within the campsite, which includes an Aqua Park and teen club. All of the camp’s sanitary facilities have been renovated and adapted for use by children, whilst a new introduction is the Camper-stop zone, catering for short-stay guests with their own camper vans.
