Croatian campsites are basically situated close to the sea, far from noise, in quiet and peacefull areas and in clean surroundings.

Campsites are mainly open from May to October, but there is a large number of campsites open all year long. Those ones have to be equipped with special advices (heated washrooms, living areas and so on).

The campsite variety according to dimensions varies from big campsite-areas, real towns with a various infrastructural facilities and a free time contents, to a big number of small campsites, mostly in Dalmatia, situated actually in privatelly owned gardens and courtyards.

In case You are camping with Your own equipment, You can choose between a campsite with or without electricity; bounded pitches with electricity; bounded pitches with water and electricity or  bounded  pitches with water, electricity and spouts. Recently, pitches for campers needs have been arranged more and more.
