Numerous Croatian campsites, thanks to their high quality and wide range of content and services, deservedly hold some of the most prestigious camping awards and prizes.
Since 2008, the Croatian Camping Union carries out the campsites quality project called Croatia's Best Campsites, which brings together the best campsites in the country, and represents the synonym for guaranteeing the quality of the Croatian camping offer.
The Croatia's Best Campsites quality labels are awarded to campsites that meet the established quality standards within the defined rating system in four categories: sanitation, accommodation units, catering and shopping offer and leisure facilities, while the quality of the content and services is additionally confirmed by visiting inspectors.
The label is assigned to campsites for one year, and every next year it encourages all campsites to invest in increasing the quality of their contents and services in order to reach the prestigious list of the best Croatian campsites.

In 2010, the Croatian Camping Union launched the OK Min Camps Quality Project with the aim of certifying the quality standards of small campsites with a capacity of up to 200 people. To this date, by using a defined assessment system, the project identified and certified small campsites that offer a high level of content and quality services tailored to today's campers expectations.
The OK Mini Camps tag, assigned to the best small campsites, serves as their basic distinguishing feature in quality compared to other small campsites in Croatia, and guarantees the quality and safety of guests.
Compared to large campsites, the best small campsites represent a specific and increasingly sought-after camping product that provides guests a relaxing family atmosphere, individual approach, and an immediate opportunity to learn about local culture, traditions and customs.
