Recognised as one of Croatia’s best campsites, the three-star Camp Galeb is located 21 kilometres south east of Split in Dalmatia. The camp is situated in Omiš at the mouth of the Cetina river and can accommodate up to 1.400 campers. A range of mobile homes are available to rent, half of which are located along the camp’s 300 metre long beach.
Recreational facilities include an artificial turf football field, tennis courts equipped with lighting for night games, and basketball, beach volleyball and handball courts. For younger campers, a children’s playground is available together with a mini club, swimming school and a programme of evening entertainment. Adults can take advantage of the aerobics, water aerobics and workout classes.
The camp’s beach features its own restaurant, which offers full board, half-board or breakfast only options for the camp’s guests.
A series of excursions are available, organised by the camp’s team, including rafting on the river Cetina. With the Bike certificate, the campsite is ideal for cycling enthusiasts.
