Situated in the bay of the same name, camp Grebišće is located on Hvar, one of the sunniest Croatian islands to be found in the Adriatic. The camp is only 1.5 kilometres from the town of Jelsa and 30 kilometres from the town of Hvar.
The camp is surrounded by a range of pine, mandarin and orange trees, allowing guests to benefit from the cool shade that they provide, whilst sun-seekers can take advantage of the campsite’s two sandy beaches.
Camp Grebišće is capable of accommodating up to 300 guests, who can, if they wish, choose to stay in one of the camp’s bungalows or apartments located within traditional Croatian stone houses.
On-site facilities include a shop, a restaurant and a beach bar, whilst recreational options include tennis, volleyball and miniature golf. In addition there is a range of sun beds, pedal boats, bicycles, mopeds and water bicycles for hire.
Nearby Jelsa and its old town are well worth visiting: sights to see include the town’s defensive walls and its numerous churches, squares, parks and caves. Via the local ferry service on Jelsa, the nearby island of Brac is worth a visit as is the centre of Bol.
