The four star campsite, camp Pineta, is located in Istria close to the oldest and largest lighthouse on the Adriatic, in Savudrija near Umag – only 10 kilometres from Croatia’s border with Slovenia.
Pineta has over the last few years been recognised as one of Croatia’s Best Campsites. Accommodating 1,370 guests, the camp has a 1.5 kilometre long shoreline with stone and pebble beaches, as well as a special beach area for pets. Situated in tree-lined area, the camp has a number of luxury camping plots with recently built sanitary facilities.
Facilities include a restaurant, a terrace with live evening musical entertainment, a pizzeria and several coffee bars. More daytime and evening entertainment is available in the nearby apartment complex. Sporting activities include use of the camp’s seawater swimming pool, tennis courts and tennis school, as well as several other sports facilities.
Umag itself is known as a centre for sporting activities in Istria, largely thanks to the ATP tennis tournament held there.

Savudrija is an old fishing village on the westernmost point of Croatia. The symbol of Savudrija is certainly the tallest lighthouse in Istria (36 m), the oldest on the Adriatic coast, which attracts with its beauty.
