Located one kilometre south of Baška Voda, camp Baško Polje is only 8 kilometres from Makarska, the tourist centre of the famous Makarska Riviera. The campsite lies amongst lush pine trees and 300 metres from the sea, in one of the sunniest areas in the northern part of the Mediterranean boasting more than 2,700 sunshine hours per year.
Camp Baško Polje covers 130,000 square metres, offering accommodation for 2,214 guests. Part of a tourist complex bearing the same name, the camp’s guests have access to the complex’s sports and recreational programmes which include basketball, volleyball, five-a-side football and bocce.
The campsite’s accommodation facilities include 17 bungalows, most of which have four beds. Dining facilities include the restaurant of the hotel Alem as well as a beach restaurant open in the summer with an a la carte menu and a terrace where live music evening performances take place. The campsite has also a grocery shop and a bakery.
