Kvarner Camping

The Kvarner Bay and Primorje-Gorski Kotar County are one of the favourite camping destinations in Croatia, both for camping on the mainland as well as for the islands. This region stands out with its unique combination of mountains, coast and islands, which allow you to enjoy its diverse landscapes in a small area.

Most of the campsites are located along the coast, from the eastern slopes of the Učka mountain, all the way to Rijeka, Crikvenica and Novi Vinodolski, as well as on the unique islands: Krk, Cres, Lošinj and Rab. It is up to you to choose between smaller family-run campsites or larger and richly equipped resorts that will meet all your needs. What they all have in common is the fact that they will offer you a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Find your ideal campsite in Kvarner and its surroundings, whether you are looking for a large pitch by the sea, a mobile home in the shade of pine trees or a charming glamping tent, because campsites in this region have an option for everyone!

You will be especially delighted if you decide to camp on the islands. Apart from the island of Krk, which is connected to the mainland by a bridge, you can easily reach other islands by a short and relaxing ferry ride that does not require a reservation and on which you can easily transport your camper or caravan.

If you want to have fun in an aquapark during your vacation, we suggest campsite Čikat on the island of Lošinj, while for a top camping experience you won't go wrong with the 5-star campsites on the island of Krk: Omišalj and Krk Premium Camping Resort. For pet owners, we recommend campsite Slatina, which offers specially services for your four-legged friends. If you love pebble beaches, we suggest campsite Kovačine on the island of Cres, while for the one who prefer sandy beaches, the best choice is San Marino Camping Resort on the island of Rab.

After swimming in the numerous secluded beaches, you can opt for a long walk or hiking adventure as in Kvarner everyone will find something for themselves. From beginners who want to visit the highest peak of the island, to those with an adventurous spirit who will set out to conquer the peaks in the Risnjak National Park.
