The continental part of Croatia hides some of the greatest natural beauties of the entire country, and you can discover them all from the charming campsites in the interior of Croatia. This region includes the administrative area of thirteen counties and the capital Zagreb.

From the hilly areas, which are characteristic of the western and northern part of the interior, all the way to the vast plains of eastern Slavonia, the campsites here are mostly smaller and often located near natural or cultural sites. The most famous among them is certainly the Plitvice Lakes National Park, where in most of the surrounding campsites you will be able to carelessly leave your camper on your pitch and explore this natural pearl with organized transfers from the campsites. Around Plitvice Lakes there are several very high quality and modern campsites such as Plitvice Holiday Resort, Camping Plitvice or camping Big Bear. You will encounter a similar situation when visiting campsites in the vicinity of Zagreb, the capital of Croatia, which is an attractive destination throughout the year.

Camping in the interior of Croatia can be an ideal alternative or extension of your camping holiday on the Adriatic coast, whether you spend your vacation in a camper, caravan, tent, comfortable mobile home, or you want to experience unique tree houses immersed in greenery.

In addition to Plitvice Lakes, you can camp near other natural attractions such as the nature parks of Žumberačko gorje, Papuk and Kopački rit.
