On Friday, October 30, 2020, the kick-off meeting of all the partners in the „Campmaster“ project was held on an online platform.
This is a project funded by the European Union, under the auspices of ERASMUS + call Strategic Partnerships - K203. The leading partner in the project, the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, presented to other partners the strategic goals, financial framework, time frame, activities and tasks, and future steps during the project. The kick-off meeting served to define the main determinants, as it is a complex project which will result in the first European curriculum in the field of sustainable management of a camping resort.

This will ultimately result in the acquisition of the necessary knowledge and experience by students and university professors, while entrepreneurs and managers in the wider camping industry will benefit from the published research, resources and knowledge on sustainability in campsite management.
