Located on the Dalmatian island of Murter, camp Plitka Vala is just 2 kilometres from the centre of the town of Betina. Accommodating 480 guests, the campsite is situated on a mainly flat terrain covered with Mediterranean foliage and has a 450 metre long pebble beach close by.
Part of Plitka Vala’s facilities, including its reception area, are shared with those in the neighbouring campsite. The camp’s sporting and recreational facilities include sailing and diving lessons, together with bicycle hire.
The town of Betina is 31 kilometres from Šibenik and 7 kilometres from the bridge connecting the island of Murter to the Dalmatian mainland. This picturesque tourist resort is known for its beaches and its long shipbuilding tradition, represented by a modern shipyard also called ‘Betina’ which produces sports and fishing boats. In the centre of Betina, the local marina with its facilities can be found.
