A small, simple but idyllic campsite, camp Zdovica is located in the picturesque bay of Valun, on the island of Cres. The camp sits in a partly forested area with a pebble beach and can accommodate up to 220 guests.

Only tents are permitted in the camp - cars and caravans are not permitted access. The nearest bars, restaurants, grocery shop and news stand are within 200 metres of the camp.

Valun is a typical fishing village known as the place where the Valun Tablet, a bilingual (Old Croatian and Latin) and digraphic (Glagolitic and Latin) tablet from the 11th century, was found. In addition to the boat excursions organized in the village, it offers an interesting culinary experience based mostly on fish and seafood dishes that are prepared in a traditional way. Local delicacies include prosciutto, sheep’s cheese, wine and dry figs. Together with the towns of Osor and Lubenice, Valun is considered to be one of the must-see destinations on the island of Cres.
