Accommodation options
Of the seven types of pitches available at the Aminess Maravea Camping Resort, the majority feature full-package infrastructure, as well as additional perks such as a barbecue, umbrellas, and a shower. The pitches are situated in various locations, including by the sea, next to a pool, or in an oak or acacia forest. They range in size from 80 m2 to 120 m2.
Amongst the five themed mobile home villages, two stand out. The Amber Sea Luxury Village offers direct access to the sea and a swimming pool for guests. The Miramì Family Village is entirely adapted to children and located near the pool with slides and the Mirami Fun Factory, where they can attend educational workshops.
The campsite has five modern sanitary facilities. These include baby changing areas, units adapted for children and persons with disabilities, private bathrooms, and dog showers.
Beaches and pools
The Aminess Maravea Camping Resort beach has pebble, rocky, and concrete areas. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available for an extra charge. Additionally, there is an à la carte restaurant and a lounge bar serving refreshing beverages. Other amenities include lifeguard services, showers, changing rooms, and a dog beach.
The campsite has various pools, including a tide pool with seawater, a true magnet for both adults and kids. Children are particularly thrilled with the freshwater pools with slides and sprayers within the Loop water complex covering 600 m2, as well as with three additional pools with a slide at the Miramì Family Village. Other pools can be found in the Relax Premium Village zone and within the Amber Sea Village.
Restaurants, bars and shops
Maravea campsite has an impressive and diverse gourmet offer. The Loop show cooking restaurant serves international and local specialties and has a great selection of wines. The Loop shop sells locally produced groceries. Besides vouching for unforgettable vistas, the à la carte restaurant Capa serves Istrian dishes and features a special BBQ corner. The One Second lounge bar is the perfect spot for those who dream of enjoying a refreshing drink on a terrace by the sea.
Other campsite amenities include a bakery, a supermarket, and a barbecue area. For an even more pleasant camping experience, feel free to consult a concierge.
Sports and entertainment
The campsite guests can enjoy playing tennis on two clay courts and take tennis classes with either a tennis school or a private coach. Cyclists have access to organized tours, bike transfer and rental services, maps, and well-kept trails in the surrounding area. Guests can enjoy a variety of activities at no extra cost, including the use of a multipurpose playground, mini golf course, outdoor gym, beach volleyball courts, and football pitches.
Organised workout programmes, such as yoga, Pilates, and stretching, are available for adults, in addition to dance classes and sports tournaments.
The campsite provides an entertainment programme designed for children and teenagers. This includes Miramì Edutainment workshops and the Crazyology Lab, which encourage learning and research through play. Additionally, there is a teen room for children aged 10 to 15, and fun evening events.
What to do and see in Novigrad and its surroundings?
The seaside promenade from the campsite to downtown Novigrad is perfect for walking and cycling. Novigrad is a charming fishermen’s town that offers various gourmet events, jazz and blues evenings, the Magical NoviGrad Street Art festival, and many more activities for both kids and adults. Novigrad’s gourmet scene is also worth exploring. A tourist train connects the campsite with the town centre (for an extra charge), making it easier to get around.
For a fun family outing, visit the Istralandia waterpark located just eight kilometres from the campsite, which offers a variety of water attractions and slides. Entry tickets for the waterpark and other excursions and events can be purchased at the Aminess GoAdria agency within the campsite.
If you prefer a more peaceful activity, consider bird watching in the Mirna river valley. The valley is home to a unique bird reserve that can be explored by kayak.
