Accommodation options
The pitches at the Baška Beach Camping Resort are between 70 m2 and 100 m2 in size, and are mostly located right by the sea or just 100 m away from the sea. All pitches have electricity and water hook-ups, and some have sewer hook-ups too.
For those who prefer a higher level of comfort, there are affordable comfort homes at the campsite, while the Vela Bay Village and the Marena Village offer modern mobile homes of 32 m2 inspired by the Mediterranean setting.
Three modern sanitary facilities feature children’s toilets, baby changing areas, dish-washing areas, laundry facilities, and dog showers.
Beaches, pools, and water park
The 1.8-kilometre-long unspoilt beach stretching along the coast of the campsite has been awarded the Blue Flag for its water quality and beach facilities. The pebbled shore and sandy bottom give the beach an exotic appeal, and it is rightly considered one of Croatia’s most famous beaches. Crystal clear sea is not the only thing to enjoy here: you can try your hand at numerous water sports, and the beach is especially popular with surfers.
Baška Beach Camping Resort also has a relax pool for adults, and an attractive children’s water park with waterslides (extra charge). For guests who fancy a massage in the open air, there is a Sun & Spa wellness corner within the campsite.
Bars and shops
The Mezzino Snack Bar next to the outdoor pool at the Baška Beach Camping Resort serves light snacks and drinks on the terrace, and guests can order delivery of ready meals and fresh local ingredients through the Valfresco Direkt service.
There is also a grocery shop, bakery, pastry shop, fruit and vegetable stand, and a newsstand/souvenir shop, while numerous eateries and shops are located along the beach promenade outside the campsite.
Sports and entertainment
Lovers of active holidays will find plenty of opportunities for water sports, scuba diving and sailing courses, as well as courts for beach volleyball, football, and mini golf. Krk Island boasts many hiking and cycling trails that can be explored for days, and the bike rental service is available at the campsite. The Valamar Experience Concierge will gladly help you choose a guided tour or some other locally-flavoured experience.
Children will enjoy both daytime and evening entertainment programme. There is also a playroom for children from 3 to 12 years of age, and an outdoor playground where they will be accompanied by skilled entertainers and our cheerful mascot Maro.
What to do and see in Baška and its surroundings?
Baška’s picturesque surroundings make it an excellent destination for outdoor enthusiasts, with 19 hiking trails, three cycling trails, and three climbing sites.
We recommend you to explore the Moon Plateau, which resembles the Moon’s surface, and the Baška Glagolitic Trail. It will take you through the Baška valley with 34 stone sculptures representing the letters of the Glagolitic alphabet. Along the way you will discover mrgari, flower-shaped sheepfolds made of dry stone.
The church of St Lucy near Baška houses a replica of the Baška Tablet, a precious piece of the Croatian cultural heritage.
There is an attractive aquarium in the town centre, while the nearby islet of Prvić, a protected botanical and ornithological reserve, is another popular day-trip destination.
