Camping Savudrija is located in the fishermen’s village of Savudrija, seven kilometres from Umag and only ten from the Croatian-Slovenian border. The campsite is guarded by the biggest lighthouse in the Adriatic and is surrounded by pine trees, providing a peaceful camping experience away from the urban bustle. Being situated in the westernmost part of Croatia, it offers a stunning view of beautiful sunsets.

Accommodation options
There are three types of pitches, one of which is located right by the sea. They range from 50 to 120 m2 and can accommodate up to six people. All the pitches have electricity hook-ups, and some have water connections and SAT TV as well.
There are four sanitary facilities with a children’s bathroom and baby changing areas, washing and drying machines, a dishwashing area, and cool boxes. One of them is suitable for the disabled, while another one has dog showers.
Beaches and pools
Along the coastline, there are rocky and pebble beaches in the natural shade, with showers and changing facilities. Their unspoilt beauty makes the campsite a perfect place for snorkelling and exploring the sea life. Families will appreciate the seawater swimming pool with a sundeck, free sun loungers, and umbrellas available at the nearby resort.
Restaurants, bars and shops
The campsite offers various dining options, including an à la carte restaurant, a fast-food place, a café, and a beach bar.
Additionally, there are several amenities available in the nearby port, such as a supermarket, a bakery, a fruit and vegetable stand, a newsstand, and an ATM.
Sports and entertainment
Guests can play beach volleyball and streetball at the campsite. For an extra charge, they can also participate in activities such as mini golf, table tennis, tennis, and water sports, including beach canoes and paddle boats, or take tennis lessons.
The entertainment team at the mini club arranges creative workshops and games for children aged 4 to 12. Adults can enjoy evening shows and live music performances.
What to do and see in Savudrija and its surroundings?
Savudrija has long been known for its favourable climate and health benefits. Today, visitors can also enjoy a variety of activities such as exploring the many konobas and restaurants, sports courts, and promenades. Popular outdoor activities include cycling, windsurfing, and playing golf at the nearby Skiper resort’s top-quality golf course.
Umag, home to the well-known ATP Croatia Open Umag, sports facilities, and summer events, attracts many visitors each year. Novigrad is a picturesque town located a bit further south.
If you wish to explore Umag’s hinterland, you will be delighted by the olive groves in Brtonigla, Mramornica Cave, and the hills surrounding Buje adorned by bountiful grapes. Northwestern Istria is home to some of the most renowned wineries, so make sure to book a wine tasting. Additionally, visit local restaurants and konobas to treat your palate to tasty dishes.
