Accommodation options

Campsite Čikat has pitches from 60 m2 to 220 m2. Depending on the type chose, they have electricity, water and sewage hook-ups, and cable TV. The pitches are distributed across different zones, from those right by the sea to those in a thick pine forest. Part of the campsite is not divided into pitches and the campsite staff will be happy to help you pick a spot to your liking.

Luxury glamping tents are another great option. Some are tailor-made for families and others are perfect for a romantic getaway. There are also modern mobile homes of up to 40 m2 in size, with several location and interior design options to choose from. Some are adapted for people with disabilities.

Campsite Čikat also offers the possibility of renting caravans in the immediate vicinity of the sea. The seven modern sanitary facilities boast everything you need for personal hygiene, laundry, and dish washing, and are suitable for children and people with disabilities. There is also a dog shower, and private family bathrooms available for hire.

Beaches and pools

The campsite stretches along a kilometre-long rocky beach, nestled right in-between two pebble beaches that are perfect for families with kids. All three are fringed with hundred-year-old pine trees, which provide the most beautiful backdrop to the crystal clear sea, both of which contribute to the beneficial properties of the air. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available, as well as a special lift for people with reduced mobility.

Aquapark Čikat with its themed pools is a great place for both leisure and fun. Parents can enjoy whirlpool massages while their children delight in water attractions. The six pools cover an area of 2,400 m2 and are all seawater pools, with free entry for campsite guests. The water park also has several restaurants and an indoor and outdoor gym.

Restaurants, bars and shops

Campsite Čikat has two restaurants where guests can enjoy delicious Mediterranean specialities, seasoned with local aromatic herbs. The Silver Bay restaurant also serves breakfast, and in the high season the Čikat restaurant will deliver the meal of your choice directly to your pitch or mobile home.

There is also a fast-food bar, and another three cocktail bars, one of which is in the water park.

If you prefer home-cooked meals, you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables from nearby stalls, and there is also a bakery. For other groceries pop by the supermarket, which also sells basic camping gear.

Sports and entertainment

If you are a fan of water sports, you are in the right place! The campsite offers numerous options: kayak, pedal boat, and SUP board hire, plus scuba diving and surfing classes. There are also multipurpose courts and pitches for football, basketball, tennis, and volleyball, with tournaments organised from time to time by the campsite’s entertainment team. You can try your hand at beach volleyball, table tennis or badminton, and if you like to work out, there are outdoor and indoor gyms (the latter available in winter). With its many trails, the campsite is ideal for walking, running, and cycling enthusiasts. The Zen Garden programme, with yoga classes, kriya and pranayama techniques and meditation classes, is yet another attraction.

The Čikat entertainment team is dedicated to organising daily entertainment, educational and sports programmes for children and adults. The Čika & Čiki workshop is especially popular with kids: Baby Area (for ages 1-4) and Fun Box (for ages 4-12). And if you want to explore the island’s stunning nature and landmarks, just pick an excursion to your liking.

What to do and see on the island of Lošinj?

With aerosols blending with the scents of medicinal herbs and pine forests, guests will find their stay on Lošinj a true aromatherapy. There are no less than 1,018 plant species on the island, and their scents will follow you as you walk along the seaside promenades or through the Lošinj Fragrant Garden.

A visit to the Museum of Apoxyomenos is a must: it is home to an ancient bronze statue from the 2nd or the 1st century BC, which was discovered in the waters off Lošinj in 1999 and has been attracting curious souls ever since. Kids will love the institute "Plavi svijet" (Blue World Institute) in Veli Lošinj, dedicated to those lovable creatures often seen in the local waters – dolphins. The institute offers the possibility to adopt a dolphin for a donation.

The nearby town of Osor, located on the neighbouring island of Cres, boasts numerous Roman villas and ancient walls, as well as statues created by Croatia’s greatest sculptors, including Meštrović. The many islets surrounding Lošinj, the most famous of which are Susak and Ilovik, make a great option for a boat excursion.
