Accommodation options
The pitches of Campsite Galeb are divided into several zones and range in size from 70 m2 to over 100 m2. All have electricity hook-ups, and some have water and drainage. Few pitches are right on the beach, and most are in the shade of tall poplars. Guests looking for a bit more space can opt for large A+ pitches and there is also a zone with unmarked pitches, with no hook-ups.
The mobile homes can accommodate 6+2 or 4+2 people. Most have a surface area of 40 m2, while the smaller ones are 24 m2. They include a kitchen, living room, two or three bedrooms, one or two bathrooms and a terrace. The more luxurious ones have a hot tub on the terrace.
The campsite’s sanitary facilities are suitable for children and people with disabilities. They include an ironing area, and dog showers. Family bathrooms with toilet, shower and washbasin are available for rent.
Beach, pools and massages
The large sandy beach runs the entire length of the campsite. Its shallow waters make it ideal for families with young children. You can rent sun loungers and umbrellas and enjoy a range of water sports. Kids will love the inflatable water park and playground and there is also a section for dogs.
The campsite has swimming pools for children and adults and a massage tent.
Restaurants, bars and shops
The beachfront Brguja restaurant serves a wide range of fish and meat dishes, pizzas and pasta. Its magical seaside ambience is no surprise, as it used to be a painting studio. Guests can choose between indoor and outdoor seating, with 130 seats available on the terrace.
There is also a souvenir shop and an ATM on site.
Sports and entertainment
Campsite guests are welcome to use a football pitch, floodlit tennis courts, as well as basketball, handball and beach volleyball courts. Kids can enjoy a playground and mini club, take swimming lessons or join creative workshops, while adults can practice Zumba or water/land aerobics.
Windsurfing and kitesurfing courses for groups and individuals are yet another big draw.
What to do and see in and around Omiš?
Omiš brims with beauty. Its picturesque old town, nestled beneath steep cliffs, gives it a dramatic feel, enhanced by the fortresses of Mirabela and Fortica, once the watchtowers of the brave Omiš pirates, and now spectacular viewpoints.
The whole area is a paradise for adrenaline junkies, whether you opt for free climbing, canoeing or rafting down the emerald-green and refreshing river Cetina. We recommend a visit to Radmanove mlinice (Radman’s Mills), a popular excursion site where they serve soparnik – the traditional Dalmatian pie.
Set aside a day for a trip to Split, a UNESCO-listed city of Emperor Diocletian, with a historic palace and streets brimming with life. If you get the chance, experience the special atmosphere of the Split Summer Festival, which turns the city’s squares and streets into a magical stage.
