A small family run campsite, camp Glavna Plaža is a four star camp situated on the beach Trstenica, located in Orebić on the Pelješac peninsula in southern Dalmatia.
A mostly wooded campsite, Glavna Plaža can accommodate 75 guests, who will enjoy the natural shade provided by the nearby palm and almond trees, as well as the close proximity to Orebić, just a few minutes away. The campsite is actually set in what used to be the garden of a centuries old Captain’s house, built in 1892 by an ancestor of the present owners of the campsite. The house is still in existence and located within it are four apartments available to rent.
Facilities include restaurants, bars, patisseries, a mini-market and a souvenir shop. Children can amuse themselves in the playground located near the camp’s reception area, whilst adults can choose from tennis and sailing and surfing lessons.
The Franciscan monastery in Orebić, situated on a hill from where it is possible to enjoy the view of the island of Korčula, offers a maritime museum with a collection of votive paintings.
