There are two types of mobile homes (Premium and Deluxe, of 36 m2), luxury and standard villas, premium bungalows, and romantic rooms. Most mobile homes have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a dining room and a nicely furnished terrace with a view. Deluxe mobile homes feature a private sundeck, while in two of them guests will also find a hot tub.
The three sanitary facilities are accessible to children and persons with disabilities. There is also a dog shower, and a private family bathroom for hire.
Beaches and pools
There are three pebble beaches in the campsite, while guests who prefer peace and quiet will be delighted to discover secluded rocky areas along the coastline. There is a scuba diving centre on one of the beaches, while another one is equipped with showers. Getting an outdoor massage right on the shore is one of the biggest treats for most guests. Boat owners will be happy to know that there is a boat ramp for launching smaller boats.
The central part of the campsite has a heated outdoor pool for adults, with a smaller zone for children. They will enjoy the fun water attractions, while their parents can hire sun loungers and umbrellas to bask in the sun or visit the pool bar.
Restaurants, bars and shops
The Glavotok trattoria offers not only typical coastal cuisine such as fresh fish, seafood and dishes cooked under the bell, but also pizzas, strudels, and fruit cakes paired with the famous local wine Žlahtina. The Puntalokve beach bar is a nice place to escape the heat and enjoy a cocktail or two. Guests can also enjoy refreshments at the pool bar.
Other campsite amenities include a grocery store, a bakery, an exchange office, and a barbecue area.
Sports and entertainment
Guests can sign up for a scuba diving course or book a guided dive to experience the deep blue of the Adriatic Sea. In addition to beach volleyball, they can also try table tennis or work out in the outdoor gym. Kayaks, pedal boats, bicycles, jet skis, and quads are available for hire, while horse lovers can visit a nearby family farm for horse riding.
Children can enjoy tailored entertainment or have fun at the mini club or playground. Dancing lessons and aqua aerobics are just some of the entertainment options for teens and adults.
What to do and see on the western coast of Krk Island?
The whole island is full of hiking trails. Campsite Glavotok is located near Šotovento, an area known for its picturesque villages and religious sites well-worth a visit. The village of the same name is home to the Glagolitic monks of the Third Order of St Francis and the Church of St Mary from 1507. A stroll by the sea will take you to the small Church of St Chrysogon, a top category heritage site.
Above Čavlena cove there are some impressive oak trees that will capture your attention. The biggest one is over 400 years old and over 5.4 meters in diameter, so you will need the helping hands of all your family members to embrace it.
The town of Krk is the heart of the island and a popular tourist destination with many reasons to visit, such as summer concerts, the Frankopan Castle, the Maritime Heritage Interpretation Centre, or the aquariums.
Visiting the nearby islands of Cres and Rab is quite easy, as the Valbiska ferry port is only six kilometres away.
