The campsite is located on the south-eastern coast of the island of Murter, about 30 kilometres from Šibenik. It is part of the tourist complex of the same name near the fishing village of Jezera. The bay of Lovišće, where it is situated, offers natural shelter from strong winds and currents and is very popular with boaters. One of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Murter is just a few steps away. At Jezera Lovišća you can enjoy all the charms of island camping and have fun exploring the surrounding area.

Accommodation options
The terraced pitches offer accommodation with beautiful views. Most of them are directly by the sea. They range in size from 80 to 140 m2 and are surrounded by a rich vegetation of native pines, olives and oaks. All of them have electricity and water hook-ups.
There are also two types of mobile homes with a surface area of 43 m2 and 30 m2. They can accommodate four adults and a child up to 12 years old. They are fully equipped and have a covered terrace and a parking space next to it.
Guests can stay in double rooms (2 persons) or family rooms (2 + 2 persons) and apartments. They can accommodate from two to six people and are equipped with a kitchenette, living room, bathroom and terrace. Depending on the type, apartments have one or two bedrooms, while some are studios.
Five sanitary facilities, renovated to high ADAC standards, are strategically located around the campsite, with separate baby changing areas, children's toilets and a women area, with lit cubicles and washbasins. Great attention has been paid to renewable energy sources, so the water is heated by solar panels.
Beach and massages
One of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Murter is located in the tourist resort of Jezera Lovišća, in Lovišća Bay. It is a well-kept beach, about 500 metres long, with many facilities. Most of the beach is covered with pebbles, while the shallow entrance makes it ideal for children. There are concrete platforms for sunbathing, while the pine forest in the background provides shade. You can also rent umbrellas and sun loungers. There is a special access to the sea for people with disabilities, and public toilets and outdoor showers are available to all.

Restaurant, bar and shop
Jezera Lovišća has an à la carte restaurant serving fish and shellfish caught daily by local fishermen. Other Dalmatian specialities and grilled dishes are also on offer, and the large terrace overlooking the sea gives the restaurant a special charm.
Guests can go downstairs to the pub, which serves pizza and a variety of drinks. In the campsite you will also find a supermarket and an exchange office.
Sports and entertainment
The campsite has four tennis courts with modern surfaces and lighting so you can play in the evenings. For those who prefer other sports, mini golf and table tennis are also available. Golf clubs, balls and rackets are available at the reception. The little ones will be delighted to jump into the water in the waterpark, and they can also have a good time on the trampolines.
A special attraction is the Wascalo Water Sports Centre, where you can rent pedal boats, bicycles, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and windsurfing equipment, and take windsurfing or catamaran sailing lessons with professional instructors.
The entertainment team run all-day children’s programmes in the Mini Club and Teen Club for younger children and teenagers. These include a Croatian language school for beginners, karaoke, art workshops, etc.
What to do and see on and around Murter?
The Jezera Lovišća campsite is in an excellent location, close to Croatia’s historic towns and national parks.
The quaint town of Tisno, connected to the mainland by a drawbridge, brims with local charm. If you happen to be on Murter in late July or August, make sure to visit two great events: the donkey race and the traditional game known as Igre na korentu.
Murter’s sandy and pebble beaches of Bilave, Jasenovac and Slanica are well known and offer perfect relaxation by the sea.
Spend a day in the nearby town of Šibenik and explore its rich history and attractions, including the UNESCO World Heritage Sites: Cathedral of St James and the Fortress of St Nicholas. With its enchanting Church of St Donatus, town walls and contemporary installations known as the Sea Organ and Sun Salutation, historic Zadar is also well worth visiting.
If nature is more your thing, the Kornati, Krka and Paklenica National Parks are only an hour’s drive away, and the nearby Vrana Lake Nature Park is equally impressive.
