Accommodation options
Ježevac boasts four types of pitches located by the sea, by the pool or in the pleasant shade of Mediterranean trees. They all have electricity and water hook-ups, and their size ranges from 70 m2 to 100 m2. The Premium Mare pitches are the most attractive ones, as they are directly on the sea, near the restaurants and the swimming pools.
If you are a nature lover looking for a comfortable place to stay, you can choose between fully equipped mobile homes for up to six adults and two children, with a surface area of up to 65 m2 (including terrace), and romantic 18 m2 chalets for couples (+ one child max.), each with a terrace that offers magnificent views and is sure to become your favourite place, especially if you are here during the warm season.
There are three modern sanitary facilities with baby changing areas and facilities for people with special needs. It is also possible to hire a private bathroom.
Beaches and pools
The campsite stretches along several beaches. One is a combination of stone plateaus and pebble and rocky sections, ideal for all those looking for a nice little corner to themselves, while the two pebble beaches are more suitable for families. Whichever you choose, there is no doubt you will have a great time, especially with all the amenities at hand: diverse sports and gourmet options, sun loungers and umbrellas (for a charge), showers, and changing cubicles. For a truly relaxed feel, treat yourself to a massage at the Balance Mediterranean Spa, right on the beach.
The campsite has an outdoor pool for experienced swimmers and a shallow pool for children with water attractions. Both are heated freshwater pools and are open to guests until mid-November. There is also a lovely sundeck within the complex, with sun loungers and umbrellas for hire.
Restaurants, bars and shops
The Oliva Grill restaurant and the Mezzino Street Food Bar serve grilled dishes, pasta, burgers and tortillas, while the Splash Beach Bar and the Splash Lungomare Beach Bar are perfect places to pop by for a refreshing drink.
If you need to do some shopping, take a walk to the Piazza, the campsite’s central square, where you will find a supermarket, and shops selling sports equipment, beach props, local produce, souvenirs, bread, and pastries.
As in all Valamar campsites, guests can use the convenient Valfresco Direkt service to order meals and groceries online and have them delivered straight to their pitch/mobile home.
Sports and entertainment
Anyone up for a sporting challenge will love the V Sport Park with its multipurpose courts, including beach volleyball. For those in search of good company, the campsite’s Stay Fit programme offers daily workout, fitness, and recreational activities. Other amenities include kayak, SUP board, bike, and e-scooter hire, as well as walking and jogging trails. If you need expert advice, Valamar Experience Concierge is waiting for you in the central Piazza to help you make the most of your holiday on Krk.
The campsite prides itself on its varied entertainment: live music, themed parties for adults and a host of playrooms and workshops for kids within the Maro Holiday programme, such as Maro Club and Lego Room.
What to do and see in Krk and its surroundings?
A stroll through the town of Krk is a real treat for all the senses. The picturesque alleys, the city walls and Frankopan Castle, the handicrafts on display in Kamplin Square, open-air concerts and the delicious local cuisine are just some of the things you should see or try. If you visit Frankopan Castle, take a guided tour to learn more about the famous Krk family who had it built.
If you are into ships, visit the Maritime Heritage Interpretation Centre, and while there, see if there is an upcoming ship modelling workshop. The other two attractions that the town is very proud of are the Aquarium Terrarium and the Tropical Aquarium (where you can see the infamous piranha, among other fish).
Those looking for secluded places packed with curiosities should visit Kornić, a village that houses an impressive ethnographic collection, and the village of Dobrinj, where a local konoba serves mouth-watering šurlice (traditional pasta typical of the island of Krk). Both places offer a refreshing escape from the summer heat and crowds.
