Located 3 kilometres north of Novigrad in Istria, camp Kastanija is situated within woodland of 20,000 square metres. A good destination for nature lovers, the camp can accommodate up to 500 guests and includes a 300 metre long stone beach with paved and partially shaded sunbathing areas.
In the campsite can be found a restaurant and shop, together with a children’s playground offering a variety of entertainment activities.
Novigrad, a small medieval town in Istria is well worth a visit not least because of the varied foods available, such as the Istrian ‘sashimi’, a definite must for food lovers. Also worth visiting are Poreč, Buje and Umag, 15 kilometres from Novigrad, whilst 25 kilometres away is the border with Slovenia and close by the nearest Italian city, Trieste.
