Accommodation options

The campsite provides four types of spacious pitches, ranging from 90 m2 to 150 m2, where you can stay throughout the year. They all have electricity and water hook-ups, and the Luxury ones also have a sewer hook-up.

For those seeking more comfort, there are mobile homes or sleek villas with private pools, gardens, and parking spaces. The Deluxe Camping villas offer a total of 380 m2 of indoor and outdoor space and can accommodate up to six people. They are fully equipped and have everything a digital nomad could wish for. This includes a desk with power outlets, two smart TV devices, IPTV Ready, a roofed terrace, and a laptop safe, which makes them highly suitable for the guests who want to mix business with pleasure.

Beaches and pools

A long beach with rocky and pebble stretches, including a separate area for pets, is most certainly the key asset of Arena Grand Kažela campsite. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available for rent and the beach also features changing rooms and lifeguard services.

The campsite has recently added a central activity pool with a water area of 600 m2, which is perfect for adults, kids, and teenagers alike, with tailor-made corners. Additionally, there is a 400-m2 infinity pool, ideal for relaxation. Both pools are open every day from 10 am to 6 pm during the warm months.

Restaurants, bars and shops

The campsite has six bars, including Illy Bar Kažela, and three à la carte restaurants serving international and local dishes. They all offer great views of the surrounding landscapes, caressed by the cooling Mediterranean breeze. A true delight for any guest!

Guests can also find a camping gear shop, a supermarket, and two bakeries at the campsite.

Sports and entertainment

Arena Grand Kažela Campsite features courts and equipment for beach volleyball, badminton, table tennis, and bocce. Scuba diving and windsurfing classes are also available, with windsurfing being particularly popular due to the favourable winds. At the Mediterraneo Beach sports centre, you can rent jet skis, tubes, boats, and pedal boats.

Just outside the campsite, you will find an equestrian centre, a sport airfield providing panoramic flights over Pula and Medulin, and a paintball arena. The campsite surroundings are interwoven with trails ideal for cyclists, runners, and walkers.

The A2 entertainment team organises full-day programmes for all ages, including Pilates, yoga, paintball, and mini car races, ensuring fun throughout your stay. The amphitheatre hosts shows, dancing, and other enjoyable events during summer evenings.

What to do and see around Medulin?

Pula’s main landmarks are easily accessible from the campsite. These include the Roman amphitheatre Arena, the Cathedral, and the Temple of Augustus. We also suggest visiting the delightful coastal towns of Premantura and Medulin. Medulin can be reached by a tourist train from the campsite and offers adventure parks, water sports, and other seaside activities.

The Brijuni National Park is absolutely worth a visit. You can see impressive archaeological finds and visit a museum and a safari park reachable by boat from Fažana. This makes an excellent opportunity to combine your trip with dinner at one of Fažana’s charming waterfront restaurants. Cape Kamenjak, a protected paradise with pristine beaches and magnificent vistas, regularly makes Lonely Planet’s top travel list and is located not far from the campsite. Close by, you will also find Croatia’s largest aquarium, located in the 19th-century Fort Verudela. The aquarium houses several hundred marine species and serves as a rescue centre for endangered species, such as sea turtles and noble pen shells.

And last but not least, a visit to some of the local wineries and olive oil producers is a must!
