Nestled beside the Korana River canyon, Campsite Korana offers an unforgettable camping experience just a stone’s throw from Plitvice Lakes National Park. Situated just 6 kilometres from Entrance 1 of the Park, it allows every guest to unwind in peaceful natural surroundings.

Accommodation
Spread across 35 hectares, Campsite Korana offers premium pitches and standard camping plots suitable for motorhomes, caravans, or tents. Premium pitches come with individual connections for electricity, water, and drainage, while standard plots have their own electricity connections, but share water and drainage connections. The campsite also offers bungalows, each furnished with two single beds, a table, chairs, and a wardrobe.
All guests can enjoy modern, recently renovated communal sanitary blocks with showers and washing machines. Pets are welcome. However, please note that in the restaurant they are only permitted on the terrace.

The campsite boasts a grill area, a shop, and the Korana Restaurant.
The restaurant offers both buffet and à la carte dining with seating for 400, plus a spacious outdoor terrace that comes alive in summer with live music and artistic performances. Guests can tuck into a hearty continental breakfast or savour authentic Lika dishes, all crafted with ingredients bearing the Lika Quality label.
Surrounded by lush greenery and beautifully landscaped gardens, the campsite creates a tranquil atmosphere. The area is ideal for Nordic walking, jogging, or cycling: A particular highlight is the scenic 2 km walking trail from the campsite to the historic Drežnik Old Town, a 12th-century defensive fortress.
What to explore in and around the Park?
Explore the beauty of Plitvice Lakes National Park with one of eight tour programs, and rent a rowboat to explore the largest lake, Kozjak, on your own for the full experience. Just 20 km away, the Barać Caves offer a fascinating subterranean world of stalactites, stalagmites, and ancient rock formations. Guided tours last about an hour, and for those keen to dive deeper into the region’s underground heritage, the Speleon Centre, a striking architectural gem filled with exhibits, is well worth a visit.
Beyond the park, you can visit a nearby deer ranch, enjoy horse riding at local ranches, or get your adrenaline pumping at the nearby adventure park for an exhilarating outdoor experience.
