Accommodation options
In the shade of pine trees and close to the sea, the campsite offers three types of pitches and unmarked camping grounds. All have electricity hook-ups and are between 80 and 100 m2 in size. Some also have water and drainage hook-ups.
Six types of carefully designed mobile homes, ranging from 12 to 36 m2, offer comfortable accommodation for families, couples or groups of friends. They can accommodate up to four adults and one child and, in addition to all the necessary rooms, they also have a wooden terrace with seating, and a parking space. Pets are welcome at an extra charge.
The campsite also has apartments of 40 m2 and 50 m2 for those who prefer more space. They can accommodate four to six people and are located 50 metres from the sea.
The two sanitary facilities have been built to the highest ADAC standards and, in addition to the standard equipment, offer baby changing facilities, sanitary facilities for people with disabilities, and two private family bathrooms for hire.
Beaches, pools and wellness
The campsite is surrounded by the sea, and the beach is made up of stone plateaus, pebbles, and rocks. There are showers, changing rooms and a children’s playground. There is also a children's pool at one end of the beach.
During the spring and autumn months, guests have access to a wellness area with an infrared sauna, a Finnish sauna, a hot tub, and a cold shower, while massages are available during the summer.
Hidden behind the Adriatic motorway is Lake Vrana, the largest natural lake in Croatia, where you can swim, kayak and fish.
Restaurants, bars and shops
A restaurant is located in the central part of the campsite offering a wide range of specialities. There is also a café and a snack bar on the beach serving simple snacks and refreshing drinks.
Two separate barbecue areas are available within the campsite as well as a supermarket and internet corner. If you want some local spices, visit the Dalmatian garden with local herbs.
Sports and entertainment
Children can have fun on well-designed playgrounds and in the swimming pool by the beach, while older guests can try windsurfing and diving, or play basketball, bocce, beach volleyball, table tennis, five-a-side football on artificial grass, etc.
Evening entertainment is also organised for adults and young people, while Kozy, the popular campsite mascot, will put a smile on children’s faces.
What to do and see around Pakoštane?
Ideally located in the heart of Dalmatia, the campsite offers many opportunities for excursions, including national parks and nature parks. The closest of these is the ornithological reserve of Lake Vrana, just one kilometre away from Pakoštane. The Kornati Islands and Telašćica Bay are also nearby and can be reached by boat. The Krka waterfalls are 47 kilometres from the campsite, offering a welcome refreshment on summer days, as well as beautiful views that can be enjoyed from the neatly landscaped paths.
The larger Dalmatian cities of Zadar and Šibenik are also nearby and offer a real treasure trove of monuments and cultural heritage, as well as concerts and festivals. In Zadar, the Sea Organ and the Greeting to the Sun are must-sees, while Šibenik boasts the beautiful beach of Banj, picturesque fortresses and a charming old town.
About four kilometres from Pakoštane is the Dalmaland theme park, which we recommend for families with children.
