Accommodation options
Guests can choose between several types of pitches and camping grounds overlooking the sea and the islands of the Kvarner archipelago. They range in size from 60 m2 to 100 m2, and they all have water and electricity hook-ups, some even sewage connections.
For those looking for more comfort, there are mobile homes for 4-6 people, some of which are located directly on the beach and have a spacious terrace with sun loungers and a table for al fresco dining. The mobile homes also have special storage areas for diving equipment, and even the campsite’s sanitary facilities have units for divers.
Guests with pets can book their place in the designated areas of the campsite and the bespoke Wow Wow Pet Friendly programme ensures a great holiday for both!
Beaches and pools
The beaches of Sveta Marina and Uvalica, which run along the entire length of the campsite, have a variety of surfaces, from rocks to shingle and smooth pebbles. Divers flock here to explore the underwater world, including dives to mystical reefs and sunken ships. The sea is exceptionally clean due to the great depths and currents. Not to worry, the campsite’s beaches have a gentle descent into the sea and are suitable for all ages.
One of the campsite’s perks is certainly the heated splash & infinity freshwater pool, where guests can try their first dives, while kids will have a blast in the 35-centimetre-deep heated pool with slide. The pools are surrounded by a sundeck with loungers and umbrellas for rent.
Restaurants, bars and shops
The Punta Bistro offers full-board and half-board service and welcomes anyone appreciating a delicious meal. The Splash Bar by the pool and the beach serves a variety of drinks and light meals.
The campsite also has a barbecue area, a shop, and a bakery. For those who don’t like to cook, or just want a break from cooking while on holiday, the Valfresco Direkt service is available to order groceries and ready meals and have them delivered to your door.
Sports and entertainment
Both passionate scuba divers and diving enthusiasts will love this campsite, as its award-winning diving centre offers a full range of services, from tank filling and equipment rental to diving courses and organised dives to nearby caves and tunnels, including to the sunken ship Lina. Campers can also rent bikes to explore the area on two wheels or take a walk or a jog along the panoramic trail that winds along the coast. Last but not least, the campsite’s summer entertainment programme by the children’s pool and playground is a synonym for fun.
What to do and see on the eastern coast of Istria?
Istria’s eastern coast is often undeservedly overlooked, which is precisely why this hidden gem will appeal to the guests who are not into mass tourism. It is proud of its long mining tradition, which can be explored by visiting the Labin Town Museum or taking a guided tour through the tunnels of the Raša coal mine.
The old town of Labin is full of enchanting narrow streets, events, art ateliers and restaurants where you can enjoy specialities evoking the area’s mining tradition, such as black pizza. The coastal town of Rabac is home to stunning beaches and the lovely Sentona’s Trail, whose waterfalls are a real magnet for nature lovers.
The entire Labin area is packed with cycling and walking trails offering magnificent views. The picturesque town of Plomin, perched on a cliff overlooking the bay, is well worth a visit. So is the enchanting Kršan, which Ryan Reynolds chose as the backdrop for his commercial.
