Accommodation options
Arena Medulin has five types of pitches, ranging from 90 m2 to 120 m2 and accommodating up to eight people. All are numbered and have electricity hook-ups. Some are directly on the beach, while others stretch under the tall pine trees. The pitches on the „island“ are particularly attractive for those looking for a Robinson Crusoe-style holiday.
The campsite has two types of mobile homes, each with a surface area of 24 m2, for up to five people. Besides a 12 m2 terrace, they include a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom and a parking space. Pets are also welcome (extra charge).
Guests have access to several sanitary facilities, including dishwashing areas, showers and bathrooms, which are adapted for people with disabilities.
Beaches
All the beaches along the campsite offer easy access to the sea. Guests can choose between pebble, rocky or sandy beaches (with the latter being a rarity on the Istrian peninsula). Both parents and kids will love the Bijeca sandy beach, a veritable playground by the sea, while the rocky sections and pebbled coves offer a little more peace and quiet.
All the beaches have showers, and the one next to the marina has a dog shower for your four-legged friends.
One of the beaches has a boat launch and a sea access ramp for the disabled.
Restaurants, bars and shops
The campsite prides itself on seven restaurants with an incredible variety of food, including local specialities. There is also a surf bar, where guests can take a break from swimming or windsurfing.
Other campsite facilities include a supermarket, beach equipment shop and a market selling fresh fruit, vegetables, bread and other local produce.
Sports and entertainment
As a popular family destination, the campsite has a lot to offer: children’s playground, family park, and inflatable water park (extra charge), table tennis, windsurfing and scuba diving courses, including pedal boat, banana boat and jet ski rental. Cyclists can rent bikes and enjoy the many well-maintained trails.
Entertainment for children and adults includes pirate parties, a mini club, magic shows, family tournaments, pilates and stretching classes.
Close to the campsite there are tennis, football, handball and volleyball courts, horse riding centres and a sports airport offering panoramic flights.
