What to do and see on the island of Rab?
Wander the cobbled streets of the medieval town of Rab, with its charming architecture and colourful restaurants and bars. Among the summer events, don’t miss the Rab Fair, when the town goes back in time to the 14th century, with town residents and participants dressed in period costumes.
Did you know that a quarter of the island Rab is covered with thick forest? We suggest you discover the magic of the park forest of Komrčar, ideal for picnics and walks, or the Premužić trail on the green Kalifront peninsula. If you are feeling adventurous, you can check out the cycling, walking and hiking trails of Kalifront. These will take you to beautiful rocky and sandy beaches surrounded by the turquoise sea.
And of course, you cannot leave Rab without tasting Rab cake. This tender almond delicacy is native to the island and has a long history dating back to the 12th century!
