Beaches and pool
Suha Beach stretches along a sheltered cove and is a popular destination for families with children. The beach has a sandy seabed, with pebbles on the shore. It offers sun loungers, umbrellas, showers, and changing cabins. There is a water sports centre next to the beach. Just 300 metres from the campsite is a dog-friendly beach, offering pets and their owners plenty of privacy to enjoy the sea together.
You’ll also want to experience the heated eco-friendly Biodesign pool that blends in with the surrounding nature. Covering 72 m2, the pool is equipped with jets that provide a refreshing outdoor water massage. The sunbathing area around the pool is paved with pebbles and includes showers, sun loungers, and straw umbrellas.
Restaurant and shop
The Beach Bites restaurant by the sea serves delicious pizzas, burgers, burritos, and salads enjoyed just as much as the views of the islands in the distance. The restaurant also offers a variety of drinks, cocktails, and desserts.
The campsite has more than just a BBQ zone for you – it also features a minimarket stocked with fresh fruit and vegetables, bakery products, and other essentials you’ll need during your holiday.
A unique feature of Ugljan Resort is its organic vegetable garden, where guests can enjoy the fresh produce. This is a great experience, especially for children, who can watch the fruit and vegetables grow right in front of their eyes.
Recreation and excursions
The campsite has a fitness area and a well-equipped children’s playground, as well as bike, SUP board and boat hire. Guests can also enjoy a variety of organised and individual excursions to nearby nature parks and national parks. You can explore Ugljan’s many coves by boat or take a trip to the stunning Saharun Beach on Dugi Otok, the unique Kornati Islands, or the charming islands of Rava and Iž.
What to do and see on Ugljan Island?
Island villages such as Ugljan, Preko, and Kali are just a short distance from the campsite, perfect for a stroll through narrow streets lined with traditional houses. Time seems to slow down here, and the air still carries the scent of aromatic herbs. This is why Ugljan is often referred to as the „Garden of Zadar“.
You won’t have to worry about noise here—on the contrary, you’ll be surrounded by picturesque coves and beaches, as well as hiking and cycling trails perfect for outdoor activities. If you like to reach new heights, climb to Šćah, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the entire Zadar archipelago. From Preko, a hiking trail leads to the medieval fortress of St Michael, which is also a fantastic photo point. The hike takes about an hour, so be sure to bring plenty of water and refreshments.
Family trips to the Telašćica Nature Park or the Kornati National Park are a must, while the historic gems of Zadar, Nin, and Šibenik are also within easy reach.
