The pitches rise gently from the coast towards the nearby farmland and vineyards. Numbered and mostly surrounded by greenery, they range in size from 90 to 140 m2. Most of them have electricity, water and drainage connections (except for the Prestige Mare pitches, which have electricity only, but also an excellent front-row sea view).
There are three types of mobile homes for two to six people, ranging in size from 26 to 35 m2.
Depending on the type chosen, they have a living room and a fully equipped kitchen, one or two bedrooms, one or two bathrooms, a covered terrace with furniture and loungers, and a parking space. Pets are not allowed.
Sanitary facilities are evenly distributed throughout the campsite and, in addition to the standard amenities, include children’s toilets and baby changing cubicles, bathrooms for the disabled and laundry rooms.
Beaches, pools and wellness
Guests looking for relaxation, sunbathing and outdoor activities will spend most of their holiday on the campsite’s pebble beach. The sea is super clean, and there are free sun loungers and umbrellas, children’s and adults’ floating parks, showers and changing rooms. A lifeguard is on duty. Stand-up paddleboards, kayaks and pedal boats are available for hire.
The campsite has a seawater swimming pool, a small children’s pool, heated outdoor freshwater pools with sunbathing areas and a spray park where the little ones will have the most fun. Particularly noteworthy is the unique swimming pool built in natural gravel, a kind of lagoon filled with seawater from the Val Saline bay.
The clean, beneficial seawater was also the inspiration for the opening of the SPA Val Saline Wellness Centre, where guests can enhance the effects of hydrotherapy with three types of sauna, massages, relaxing baths and various beauty treatments.
Restaurants, bars and shops
The Saline Restaurant overlooks the bay and serves dishes based on fresh local produce, seafood specialities, olive oil made from the campsite’s own olives and premium wines. The bar by the saltwater pool serves light barbecues, sandwiches, salads, homemade cakes, ice cream and drinks, while the bar by the reception is a popular spot for coffee and sweets.
The campsite also has a market, a stand selling fresh fruit and vegetables and a shop selling beach accessories, souvenirs, newspapers and magazines. Nearby there is a health centre for tourists, a pharmacy, and a gas-charging station.
Sports and entertainment
At the Val Saline campsite, guests can enjoy a range of sports free of charge. These include futsal, table tennis, badminton, bocce, basketball, volleyball, adventure golf, beach volleyball and an outdoor gym, with equipment (for sports that require it) available at the reception. Tennis equipment and stand-up paddleboards, kayaks and pedal boats are available for an additional fee. The campsite also offers a wide range of activities for children and adults. There is a mini club, playgrounds, organised sports activities, evening mini disco, cabaret and games. Adults can take part in group aqua aerobics classes, sports tournaments and musical evenings.
