Accommodation options
Zaton has more than 1,000 pitches ranging in size from 80 m2 to 120 m2. The marked pitches have electricity, water and sewage hook-ups, while the unmarked pitches offer electricity hook-ups. There is also a communal barbecue and picnic area.
Covering a surface area of 34 m2 and sleeping up to seven people, mobile homes come in three different types and have two or three bedrooms, a living room, a kitchen, a bathroom, a toilet, and a partially covered terrace of up to 26 m2.
A dedicated resort area with glamping tents offers privacy and a safari-like atmosphere owing to luxury details. The tents measure 41 m2 and can accommodate up to five people. They have two bedrooms, a living room, kitchen, bathroom, and terrace, and are equipped with a coffee maker, SAT-TV, microwave, etc.
The resort also offers more than 300 modern four- and five-star apartments, ranging from two-person studios to six-person apartments.
Guests will be happy to find five modern and well-appointed sanitary facilities with laundry rooms, baby changing areas, family bathrooms and those suitable for persons with disabilities.
Beaches and pools
The campsite beach is 1.5 kilometres long and resembles a large playground for both children and adults. Its sandy bottom makes it quite striking and rare, and the little ones will love the extensive shallows. While they build sandcastles and splash around, parents can relax in the shade, try net or iceberg climbing, play beach volleyball, explore the amusement areas, or enjoy a drink at a nearby beach bar.
There is a large and modern pool complex with nine pools: from a lap pool to a pool with hydromassage beds, a pool for teenagers and toddlers, and a really amusing spray park. It is surrounded by a spacious sunbathing area with a café and an amphitheatre for entertainment activities that can accommodate up to 750 people.
Restaurants, bars, shops and salons
The Zaton Holiday Resort feels like a small town, so it is no wonder that it boasts a wide range of gourmet options: a Dalmatian konoba, a self-catering restaurant with half-board options, an à la carte restaurant, a grill bar, pool and beach snack bars, cocktail bars, and pastry shops.
There is also a supermarket, bakery, newspaper kiosk, fashion shops and hairdressing salon nearby. Kalelarga, named after the most famous street in Zadar, runs through the campsite and has many souvenir and jewellery shops.
Sports and entertainment
The Zaton Holiday Resort is a true paradise for lovers of outdoor activities: from a range of sports grounds, water sports, bike trails, tournaments, horse riding and tennis lessons, to scuba diving, windsurfing, and swimming. Whatever your age or preference, we have you covered. We also offer a range of entertainment options for children and adults, including competitions, games, dancing, and karaoke parties. Evening events feature live music, concerts, and traditional festivities.
What to do and see around Nin and Zadar?
Within an hour’s drive are two nearby national parks - Kornati and Paklenica, and three nature parks - Velebit, Vransko Lake and Telašćica. Each has its own charm and is well worth a visit.
In Zadar, take time to listen to the sea organ and greet the setting sun with an interactive light installation. Even the famous film director Alfred Hitchock was amazed by the spectacular sunsets when he visited the town in 1964.
Make sure to take a stroll down Kalelarga, Zadar’s main street (whose replica can be found at the resort) where you can visit the bustling market with its well-stocked stalls of fruit, vegetables, meat, and fish for an authentic experience.
If you prefer quaint little towns, Nin will sweep you off your feet: set on an islet in the middle of a salt field, it boasts beautiful stone bridges and charming beaches.
