Campsites of the Future: New Ideas, New Trends, New Experiences

Višen Slamar - photo
Višen Slamar - Tissa & Partners (Croatia)

When it comes to presenting the campsite of the future, the goal is to create a vision that combines nature, sustainability, technology, and experiences. The blend of sustainable and functional solutions with aesthetics, emphasizing the natural surroundings, creates smart, wellness-oriented, and adventure-driven campsites. In all of this, it is essential to integrate innovative elements while respecting both natural and social components.

Since change and uncertainty are the only constants, flexibility is required in the interaction of all stakeholders in the camping industry. Designing campsites is a complex, collective, dynamic, and continuous process in which all participants (designers, investors, users) are simultaneously co-creators of space. Success lies in understanding, flexibility, and responsibility towards the broader context and global issues.

About the speaker:

Višen Slamar is the director and co-owner of Tissa & Partners d.o.o., a company that has been offering holistic solutions for more than 30 years, integrating architecture, engineering, and interior design into a unique product.

He highlights campsite projects as a key segment of the company’s business, which is experiencing significant growth both in Croatia and abroad. Tissa and its partners are visionaries shaping spaces, designs, and atmospheres that inspire and evoke emotions, and the company has also been recognized with awards for successful business achievements.

Presentations - 18th Congress - foto

Congress partners:

In addition to professional lectures, a very important component of the congress is the "fair part", i.e. the presentation of a large number of foreign and domestic manufacturers of mobile homes and glamping tents, camping equipment and accompanying offers, which will enable participants to gain insight into the latest market trends.

Welcome to the Croatian Camping Days!

In the past seventeen years, the Congress of Croatian Camping, organized by CCA, has imposed itself as the central event for the gathering and exchange of knowledge and experience, education and meeting of representatives of the Croatian camping sector and related activities.

From the first event, held in 2007, to last year's 18th Congress of Croatian Camping, more than 4.800 participants met and exchanged experiences, saw development trends and figures of European and Croatian campsites, learned about tools and ways of promotion, met and agreed on co-operation with CNTB representatives from some of the most eminent European markets, talked to foreign experts from campsites, advertising and related activities, received inspiration and new ideas for improving their quality and adapting to the expectations of camping guests (glamping, mobile homes, aqua parks, luxury camps, service quality etc.), saw the latest innovative mobile homes models, as well as other various camping equipment and much more.

At the same time, and not less important, the issues of future developments and current obstacles have always been debated together with the issue of raising the general competitiveness level of the Croatian camping sector.

As part of the Congress, the best campsites will be awarded with special quality prizes - Croatia's Best Campsites, OK mini camps and the slovenian quality award Naj Kamp Adria.

Once again, we believe that we have prepared some very interesting and trending topics for all participants!
