Koversada Naturist Park is one of the largest campsites in Croatia. It is located at the entrance to Lim Bay in western Istria, only two kilometres from Vrsar. The islet of Koversada, which was once the cradle of the naturist movement in Croatia and today a place for tent camping, is linked to the mainland by a pedestrian bridge. The setting is peaceful, with a kilometres-long beach and a thousand olive trees.

HIGHLIGHTS:

  • the first naturist campsite in Croatia and one of the first of its kind in Europe
  • various accommodation options, from primitive tent camping to super comfortable mobile homes
  • dog facilities: they are welcome in all types of accommodation, restaurants and bars; there are two dog beaches and showers, and small breeds get a dog bed in mobile homes
  • tourist train between the campsite and Vrsar

What’s new?

  • arrangement of 470 new Standard and Superior pitches
  • complete renovation of sanitary facility no. 16
  • the prices per pitch include accommodation up to 6 people

Accommodation options

The campsite offers four types of fully serviced pitches near the sea or forest, as well as two types of camping grounds. Some of the camping grounds are located on the islet of Koversada. The pitches, which are up to 120 m2, are equipped with electricity and water hook-ups. To ensure a peaceful and relaxing holiday, the campsite provides 15 sanitary facilities.

Additionally, mobile homes are available near Lim Bay and unspoiled beaches. They come equipped with all the necessary amenities, such as a fully-fitted kitchen, air conditioning, a safe, a satellite TV, a terrace with sun loungers, and a barbecue area. They can accommodate up to six people in the 34-m2 homes or two people in the 22-m2 homes.

Beaches

The naturist campsite has several beaches in its coastal area, ranging from rocky to pebble and stone slab-covered ones. There is also a sandy beach near the Premium zone, which is ideal for children. Beach amenities include showers, sun loungers, and umbrellas. Some beaches have facilities for the disabled, and two of them have dog showers. It is important to note that dogs are not allowed on the islet. The beach at the campsite has been awarded the Blue Flag for its cleanliness and high level of maintenance.

Restaurants, bars and shops

Koversada Naturist Park has nine catering facilities, including a buffet and fish restaurant, eateries serving pasta, burgers, and street food classics, as well as enough beach and lounge bars to try something new every day, from fresh fish and shellfish to crispy pizza.

There is also a supermarket, bakery, fruit and vegetable stand, and a newsstand.

Sports and entertainment

This green oasis by the sea offers a range of sports and entertainment facilities, including eight clay tennis courts, an indoor soccer pitch, basketball, handball, and beach volleyball courts, and a mini-golf course. Visitors can also explore the surrounding area by cycling the Vrsar-Lim-Vrsar eco trails or taking a ride on a pedal boat or kayak. All necessary equipment can be rented at the campsite, including sports accessories.

Children will love outdoor sports courts and entertainment programmes managed by our Fun & Sports entertainment team.
