Oaza mira campsite near Pakoštane is surrounded by four national parks and the Vrana Lake Nature Park. Easily accessible from the main roads from Zadar and Šibenik, it boasts a unique location, nestled between hills, partly on a peninsula, with a beautiful pine-shaded beach in a cove. The nearby islands of Arta Vela and Vrgada are popular destinations for day trips by boat. A limited number of pitches and mobile homes make it an ideal haven for those seeking peace and relaxation.

Accommodation options
Most of the pitches at Oaza mira campsite lie on a terraced slope leading down to the cove, and some of them facing the pine forest. They range in size from 80 m2 to 100 m2 and all have water and electricity hook-ups. Their distance from the beach is 90 m at the most.
The campsite has several types of mobile homes. Those of 34.4 m2, with two bedrooms and bathrooms and extra beds in the living room, can accommodate up to six people, while those of 16.8 m2 are designed for couples or families of three. All are fully equipped, and have a garden with terrace and awning, as well as a parking space.
Guests who have opted for a pitch have access to fully equipped sanitary facilities with showers, washbasins and sinks with hot water, units for the disabled, and cooling cabinets.
Beach and swimming pool
Guests can enjoy themselves on the pebble beach that runs the entire length of the campsite. With pine trees all around, there is always plenty of shade for everyone. There are two other pebble beaches close to the campsite and many secluded spots within walking distance, perfect for those seeking privacy.
Within the campsite restaurant complex there is an outdoor swimming pool with sundeck, saunas and gyms.
Restaurant and shop
The campsite’s central restaurant, San Antonio, offers an elegant ambience overlooking the sea and an impressive range of local and international dishes. Right on the beach near the campsite is a traditional konoba serving a variety of local dishes. The Dalmatian-style interior has a truly homely feel, and the covered terrace offers views of the sea and nearby islands. Close to the beach is a bar where you can enjoy a refreshing drink.
Fresh fruit and vegetables are available daily in the self-service area, and there is also a barbecue zone.
Sports
The campsite has a multi-purpose basketball and futsal court, two tennis courts, a beach volleyball court, a well-equipped gym, and a children's playground, all of which are available to guests free of charge. An indoor three-lane bocce court is a special attraction.
There is also a charming marina where boaters can moor their boats.
The nearby Vrana Lake Nature Park is perfect for cycling, fishing, kayaking (guided or on your own) and swimming, and there is an adrenaline park and a paintball field nearby.
What to do and see near Pakoštane?
The campsite’s unique location makes it a perfect base for exploring the beautiful Vrana Lake Nature Park. It is the habitat of numerous bird species, and if you want to learn more about them, you can follow the „Birds of Vrana Lake“ educational trail and climb some of the birdwatching towers for a complete experience. The national parks of Paklenica and Krka are only half an hour away by car, and it’s not far to Plitvice Lakes either (a two-hour drive). If you prefer island destinations, be sure to visit Kornati, a breathtaking archipelago that was declared a national park in 1980.
Pakoštane is close to the historic cities of Šibenik, Zadar and Split, each offering an authentic experience. Šibenik is the city of fortresses and cultural events, while Zadar impresses with its sacral architecture and quaint museums, such as the Museum of Illusions and the Museum of Ancient Glass. The city of Split, some 120 kilometres away, boasts enchanting UNESCO heritage sites, including Diocletian’s Palace, and a great gourmet scene.
