Valalta, one of the best naturist campsites in Europe, is located just 7 km from Rovinj, at the entrance to the Lim Bay Nature Reserve. Accommodation options
Campers of all ages will enjoy the spacious pitches for campervans, caravans, and tents. A unique feature of Valalta is that specific pitches cannot be reserved; instead, guests choose their pitch on arrival, based on availability within their preferred zone. The pitches range in size from 60 m2 to 140 m2 and are equipped with electricity. Many also offer water and drainage hook-ups. The pitches are located between 5 and 500 metres from the sea.
For those seeking alternative accommodation, bungalows for 2 to 3 guests are available, ranging from 12 m2 to 32 m2. All have a double bedroom, bathroom, and terrace, and offer either bed & breakfast or half-board services.
There are 8 types of apartments for 2 to 6 guests, ranging in size from 16 m2 to 77 m2. Each apartment has a kitchen, living room, one or two bedrooms, one or two bathrooms, terrace, and private parking.
For guests who prefer mobile homes, there are four types to choose from, accommodating from 2 to 6 people and ranging in size from 26 m2 to 40 m2. Depending on the type, they have a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, one or two bedrooms, one or two bathrooms, a terrace with outdoor seating and sun loungers, and a parking space.
There are 19 sanitary facilities spread throughout the campsite. In addition to the standard amenities, they have children’s sanitary facilities, baby changing areas and the option to hire family bathrooms. There are also toilets for the disabled and separate laundry and dishwashing facilities.
Beaches, pools, vitality & beauty centre
Along the 4 km stretch of coastline, you’ll find a variety of beaches – pebbled, sandy, rocky, and paved – ensuring every guest can find their ideal spot. Sun loungers and umbrellas are provided free of charge, while those looking for more action can enjoy a range of water sports (at an extra charge). The area also lifeguards, showers, changing cabins, as well as numerous children’s playgrounds and water parks in the sea.
The campsite has a heated freshwater pool, 2 hot tubs, and a separate seawater pool for both adults and children. Nearby, you’ll find bars, kids' clubs, a fitness centre, beauty and hair salon, clinic, and pharmacy. Entertainment programmes are held here, and guests can also visit the Vital Centre, offering a variety of medical programmes including massage, aromatherapy, lymphatic drainage, electrotherapy and many other services that promote health and wellbeing.
For an extra fee, there’s also an indoor/outdoor heated pool with a whirlpool and sunbathing area, as well as saunas available within the complex.
Restaurants, bars and shops
The dining options at Valalta are so varied that you can enjoy a different experience every day, each with its own unique atmosphere. The half-board restaurant serves a variety of buffet dishes for breakfast and dinner. There’s also the Mediterranean restaurant Uvala, the fish restaurant Spacio, a pizzeria, and a grill snack bar. Additionally, there are six bars serving drinks, cocktails, and desserts.
Local produce, quality meats, and Valalta olive oil are used to prepare all meals, ensuring a true taste of the region. The campsite also offers fresh products from its own bakery. One of the standout features of Valalta is its homebrewed organic beer, produced in the campsite’s own brewery, which you can visit during your stay.
If you enjoy cooking, the supermarket offers a wide range of products, including fresh bread and pastries made in-house, fresh local meat, Valalta olive oil, and top-quality local wines. Separate stalls sell fresh fruit and vegetables. There is also a kiosk, boutique, pharmacy, clinic, ATM, gas station, and even a free electric car charging station.
Sports and entertainment
Given the size of the campsite, guests can look forward to a true paradise for active relaxation. Tennis, five-a-side football, basketball, and handball courts, boccia, mini golf, adventure golf, beach volleyball, and table tennis are all available. There’s also an outdoor gym, a water slide, and inflatable water parks. Guests can hire bicycles, SUPs, kayaks, and pedal boats, as well as smaller motorboats. The campsite also boasts the only naturist marina in the Adriatic, ideal for mooring boats up to 10 metres in length.
Adults can enjoy a wide range of sports and recreational activities, including gymnastics, aqua aerobics, sports tournaments, evening entertainment and music, as well as beer parties at the Valalta tavern. Younger children will have fun at the mini-club and the numerous outdoor playgrounds, as well as at the water parks in the sea and the football school. There are plenty of bike trails in the area that wind through stunning landscapes. A particularly attractive route runs through the Golden Cape Park Forest, where you can enjoy the scent of pines, discover hidden beaches, or find a quiet spot perfect for meditation.
Explore the nearby Lim Bay, which is right next to the campsite. Here, you can take a boat ride, hike to Romuald’s Cave, and enjoy fresh shellfish, especially oysters.
